PERFORMANCE:

An average of 100,000 Candela in the full-size configuration represents a seismic leap in capability for the user. Over 44% more than the closest competitor. It means more light on-target, better situational awareness, and improved survivability. Run-time standards per ANSI/PLATO-FL1 ensure your light performs as long as you need it. Due to enhanced thermal upgrades, the REIN light head CANNOT be used on any MCH lights. Simply, the light head gets too hot which can cause damage to the electrical components.

• Run-time standard per ANSI/PLATO-FL1 = 95 minutes for the full-size REIN. The ANSI/PLATO-FL1 standard for runtime is: The amount of time until the light reaches 10% of its original output.

POWER:

The REIN uses a USA-made, state-of-the-art electrical system. That gives us the output, efficiency, and run-time.

Uses a single 18650 battery.

The REIN is now DUAL FUEL. CR123A batteries are now allowed. However, if you use CR123A, expect performance degradation. We supply a branded Samsung 18650 30Q with the REIN. Please note, REIN will produce usable light for multiple hours.

Accepts ALL protected and unprotected 18650 batteries. Accepts both button-top and flat-top batteries.

COMPATIBILITY:

REIN ships standard with a Torrent MLOK Inline. Cloud Defensive offers a full line-up of Torrent mounts for different mounting needs. REIN is fully compatible with existing Scout Light® mounts on the market.

REMOTE SWITCH:

The REIN switch has proven to be good both electrically and in durability. The remote switch is electrically isolated from the push-button switch located on the tail cap. Tail-cap cartridge is easily replaceable and allows for “clocking” so you can minimize cable exposure, without removing the tail of the light.

GENERAL INFO:

Modular 3-piece design. With a modular electrical system and remote switch, REIN is upgradeable as subsequent generations are released. Please read more details on generational compatibility on the REIN FAQ page.

IPX-8 waterproof rating. Fully submersible to 100 feet for 24 hours. Fully-potted remote switch included.

Strongest-in-class lens. The glass on the REIN is 3mm thick. It can take multiple hits from 5.56mm Simunition rounds, at contact-distance.

Patented Battery Jack feature. This allows you to properly tension the battery inside the system to avoid battery bounce. This lengthens the life of your system and increases reliability.

The exposed cable for the remote switch is 5” long. Shorter 3″ cables are available here.
